December Favourites 2014

Hi everyone it's FAVOURITES time! I've got some make up to show that I've been LOVING this month! ^^ Soo excited. 

So pretty much, my skin has been in the 'recovery' phase of acne so I've been using these products daily to help cover them up for work! 

1: Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream : I use it in replace of my foundation as I prefer the colour match for this winter season and it has salicylic acid. Check out this link for a full review on it : http://gennaxnyou.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/todays-focus-maybelline-dream-pure-bb.html .

2: Vichy Dermablend : Its a thick concealer so sometimes I used it as a foundation as well. Real creamy and it helps cover up my acne and it lasts for ages too. To know more about it check it out here : http://gennaxnyou.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/vichy-dermablend-concealerfoundation.html .

3: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer : Famous all-time acne cover-up and cheap concealer. Does the job, blends really well and I use either this or the Vichy to conceal.

As for the LIPS which is my favourite part cause I lovee lipsticks, so these are my favourites (lips-wise).

Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub. It was 5.50 pounds - pretty expensive for a lip scrub but it lasts a while. It's a sugar scrub that does the job well and smells really good. They have a few flavours and I did try the Popcorn before and that was good too! I do love me some minty feel on my lips! Helps get rid of dead skin for an even application of lipstick this winter <3.

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer : This is my 2nd lip lacquer . I love the colour of this. It's a pinky nude colour, perfect for everyday wear. Formula wise - long lasting and works as a stain. Normally i would blot it out cause I'm not into super glossy lips atm and also if you don't, it tends to 'bleed' outside of your lips so that's the downside of it but if you blot it and re-apply and make it like a stain, it stays on!

As for blush, well this is my favourite one this month. 

Loreal Le Blush in Sandalwood Rose : Blush colours are normally personal choice, it depends on your skin tone. Mine works for this colour. It's a peachy corally pink and I like how it looks very natural on your skin, not so bright-out-pink so it gives you a great healthy glow on your cheeks. Great for an everyday wear too! :)

Because it's winter, my skin has become a bit fairer than how it normally is. So to make me look a bit more tan and for contouring purposes, this is my all-time favourite bronzer :) 

Body Shop Bronzer in Fair Matte : It's a matte bronzer that doesn't make me look too orange. It was 10 pounds if I'm not mistaken, and it last really long. Great for contouring and although it looks a bit light, it can be build up to give you a darker colour if you need. Been using it everyday this month to contour and it's amazing how contouring can really shape your face .

My favourite Mascara this month? Has to be this one..

It's the Maybelline Rocket Volume Express Mascara. I've got a few but I tend to use this because it holds my eyelashes really good for the whole day while I'm work, doesn't flake,clump and it gives me tons of length for my short lashes which is brilliant. The best thing about is taking it off where others would require more work, this is removed with just a make up remover and you're clear to go although it's waterproof. AMAZING.
