Relationship : Single is a lifestyle, not just a status.

Hello , realized something today that I just needed to share about & YES, it's about the judgement of being single. I'm writing this not because I 'dont want to seem lonely or 'forever alone"' but I'm writing from another perspective that others don't really see of people being single.  Based on the above quote, it shows you that it's true. Being single is a lifestyle and not a status. Many of us judge a single person as someone who can't find anyone to spend their life with, who has something wrong with them that others dislike them, too into their careers, or basically someone who isn't 'normal' which really annoys me because  FIRST off: We all started out being single, so why should we judge others when we're in a relationship (just makes us seem like we're boasting about being in a relationship ) which really isn't what 'being in a relationship' is all about.  A relationship is betwee

Welcome back xx As my collection for lipsticks grow and grow, I have some that I think is time to get rid of.  Some because it's really really old and some because it's not my cup of tea anymore. I've got 5 lipsticks here that I'll be reducing from my collection simply because : 1) The colour doesn't suit my skin tone very much 2) The formula doesn't appeal much to me 3) Its expired. So don't get me wrong, some of these lipsticks are pretty good - just that , I dont have any reasons to keep them around and since I dont wear them much, I figured it's time to clear some of them off. Let's get right onto the first one. Description : A creamy blue-tone nude lipstick.  My thoughts on it: It glides on your lips really nicely, does not flake or dry out the lips, the only downside for me personally, is it makes my teeth look yellow because its blue tone so I seldom wear it. However, if you are looking a drugstore bl

Helloo welcome back. Sorry for the delay a lil bit - was busy hanging out with friends and family for the past few days but I'm back.  As the title says, today's post is all about products I've used up and I've got once again, a whole range of them. ( Lets get to it ) . First stop: Beauty PRODUCTS. Nivea Double Effect Make Up Remover : £3.89 : A double suspension with an oil & make up remover layer known to be effective for even removing waterproof eye make up. [My experience: Not very effective, produces uneven layers of oil & make up remover which makes it harder to remove any traces of eye make up, had to go in a couple of times even after holding for 10 seconds before wiping it down] {Rating : 7/10} Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream Oily skin : £6.99 : Claim to blurs imperfections, moisturize, and provide a light - medium weight coverage and it has SPF 15. [ My experience : I use it more times than I use my foundation because I find it l

Self Help : The Ripple Effect

Hi there everyone, Welcome back.  I'm currently on holiday at the moment so just bear with me. It's nice to be away from the cold although its just a short period. Anyways, I've got a brand new post and it's all about  THE RIPPLE EFFECT. I'm using this phenomenon to relate to what we think in our thoughts. Ever heard of the phrase : 'What we think, we become'. Well that's true. People say what you think of most, is what you'll get. But I believe, it also depends on what you give. So the ripple effect comes to play when, for example : You're an optimistic person and you think positive thoughts & see the good in every situation - doing so, allows you to find the good in others, hence making that circle around you positive too. Well after reading all about it, I decided to give it a try. *MY STORY* Let's go back to 6 months or so before today - my life was a wreck. I was lost, I had no one, I was in

Self Help : Confidence & My Inspiration.

Image
Heyy,  Welcome back ! xD Today I'd like to share with you , what makes me confident on a daily basis and who do I turn to - to boost my confidence when I'm feeling low.  I've got some of my favourite celebrities & people who I admire that makes me channel my innermost self & makes me embrace every inch of me. =]  Let's get right to it. I was never confident growing up, in fact I was one of the most shy-est person & lowest self esteem person ever. With that, it made me even more conscious about who I am, and every little judgement made by others affected me more than it normally should. So growing up, it was difficult.  It affected me so much, to the point, I was telling myself 'well, maybe it's time I change myself so that I would fit in and finally have a group of friends I can be with' simply because, it was hard for me to make friends and people were just coming & going in and out of my life ... to the point that I got use
