Travel: Seville, Spain

Image
Welcome back, Let's take a trip down memory lane to Seville, Spain and why it's still one of the places I would love to go back. Not just because it's where me and husband got engaged BUT of how amazing the architecture/culture is in this city.  Let's get into why I love Seville so much.  There's a lot of basilica's that you can visit, each to their own design - all dotted around town. Make sure you wear your walking shoes  because there's LOADS of walking to be done. We went in mid September and temperature was hot - mid 30s but dry heat.  In the afternoon, shops were shut for siesta so plan your time accordingly. We ended up resting during the day and coming out in the evenings after 7pm. Shops closed until 4-5pm I believe, make sure you do your research. It's easy to get around, there's bus/tram service that you can take into town. For someone who doesn't speak Spanish, I was fine.  You have to visit Plaza De Espana , it's one of the most ...

Travel: Koh Lipe, Thailand

Image
Welcome back to another post. We visited Koh Lipe in Feb 2023 and I know I'm like 2 years behind on this,   but if you have not heard or been to this island before, this place is definitely something to add to your list if you're visiting Langkawi, Malaysia.  It's only a  1 hour 30 minutes ferry ride  to the lovely island of Koh Lipe from Langkawi. Although that seems like a long time, these ferries are well equipped with AC and comfy seats. I remember some parts of it was a bit choppy so if you tend to get seasick, I would advise to take seasickness medication to prevent getting nauseous.  Once you get there, the first thing you see is the clear turquoise water surrounding the island. Koh Lipe is a small island, there's only one main high street where most of the bars/restaurants/shops are - the rest goes off into the villager's homes.  It's easy to navigate and there are no cars/buses, so you either get around by foot or by motorcycles. It can get b...

Travel to: Split, Croatia 2019

Hi everyone, welcome back! It's been a while. Well a good 9 months break shall we say from blogging. To be honest, I lost my blogging mojo which was why I did not blog for such a long time. The effort it takes to plan a blogpost, get the right pictures, edit them, write the post & make sure it's posted and share it appropriately, was taking up too much of my time on top of my full time job that I do daily so I do apologize for being MIA for so long. BUT I AM BACK.😃 I would like to get back into blogging  as I realize I've missed letting my creative juices flow every once in a while. So I may not post very often for now, but I will keep you updated on my socials when I do. =)  -------------------------------------------------------------- As for today, let's start with a lovely post about my first time to Croatia 💕 We were there for 4 days and we decided to just explore Split instead of visiting Dubrovnik. We decided to visit somewhere less ...
