Paris : The Not-So-Typical Things To Do.

Hey everyone,
Welcome back!

Hope you all had a good week! This post is going to be the not-so-usual things to do in Paris. If you've been there before, here are some additional things you can do & look at to make your trip more enjoyable.

If you haven't seen my previous post , click here to see it OR if you're going to Paris for the first time , that's a list you must do first!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With that, let's begin!

1.) Architecture

If you're into photography like I am & also indulge yourself fully in the culture of the city, architecture in Paris is just divine! While you're there, just keep a close eye on the effort Parisians make to their balcony's on their apartment buildings. From flowers to modern styles of architecture to make it look elegant & classic. It's a sight you won't miss but definitely a sight to experience! Besides buildings, you've got the famous sights that are build stunningly with exceptional detail.

2.) By the Seine

Next relaxing thing to do is to enjoy time by the Seine River.  Whether it's having a stroll or sitting down enjoying a quick lunch or picnic by the River, it's a must thing to not miss! You can also take a river cruise down the river to enjoy the sights that surrounds the river Seine. You've got places like Notre Dame that's also by the river that you can enjoy & also loads of historical bridges.

3.) Luxemborg Gardens.

Next place you can spend your day at if the weather is lovely is Luxemborg Gardens. It's on the way to Montparnasse district & it reminds me of a smaller version of Versailles Palace. It's a huge garden filled with lovely flowers, garden grounds & a mansion that you can roam around. It's a nice break in the city. It's also free of charge so it's a wonderful place if you're into photography or just want a break out from the city.

4.) Montparnasse Tower.

If you have time in your schedule , it's definitely worth making a trip up Montparnasse Tower to have a view of the Eiffel Tower & the city of Paris . You do have to pay for this . We paid for 17 euros each to go up. Whether it's the evening or in the day time, it's the same price . So if you're into sunsets , it's a nice & cheaper place to be besides on top of the Eiffel Tower. This trip ,  we had a storm coming towards us as well which added the dramatic effect at the horizon.

My tip : Go early before sunset (ideally an hour before) to get a good spot. You'll not miss out & trust me, you won't regret it up there unless it rains xD

5.) Versailles Palace

Last but not certainly not least, you can spend a full day here at Versailles Palace. It's about an hour out of Paris on the train but there's so much to see. Pay to go in the chateau to understand the history behind the grounds and you can spend the rest of the day walking around the gardens & enjoy seeing the different fountains available in the gardens around the palace compound.

It's so big that they have a Grand Canal as part of the palace grounds. So yes, it's a great day out if you have an extra day in your schedule & if the weather is great.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some other little things you can do to enjoy the scene & culture of Paris are these things:

a) Eating outside in any cafe/restaurant in the city - people watch
b) Enjoying some lovely pastry & bakery with a nice cup of coffee
c) Walk from one end to the other end of the Seine
d) Enjoy the relax vibe of the city.

With that, I hope this post gave you a more insight into Paris & what you can do there.
If you have more suggestions, please let me know in the comments down below! I'd love to know so the next time I return to Paris, I could go visit them too!

Have a great day,
