Places to exercise BESIDES the gym! xx
Heyy everyone, few more days before New Years / the year ends, so we've got to keep it going. We're so close and we can't let the holidays give in to all the excuses to not exercise.
So yes, I've got a few suggestions if you're on the go or you're not at your home city to go to your usual gym OR you're just not a gym kind of person and want to achieve similar results. ;) Here are some ideas.
1) Outdoor Sports. Try a new outdoor sport (rollerblading, football, jogging, skiing, kayaking, swimming). Those sports can make you have fun and burn you loads of calories at the same time. Why NOT?

2) Indoor Sports . You don't always to be indoors in a gym to lose weight. Engaging yourself in a sport activity especially team sports will also boost your teamwork/social skills whilst losing weight. For example, badminton/squash/basketball/rock climbing/table tennis.
3) Daily Errands. In addition to those usual sporting activities, your daily errands should burn you some calories too if you haven't notice. Simple things from walking your dog, grocery shopping, painting, cleaning your house, laundry, cooking , gardening. You might not burn as much but every little bit counts!
4) Your ROOM. Never underestimate the power of space and privacy in your very own room. You can turn up the volume as loud as you want, dance it all out or stretch it all out. Best part: Some yoga poses that looks really odd in public - you can do it now!
So yes, don't think just because you don't have a gym membership or the gym is too far - fine, understandable excuse but don't forget your surroundings and your daily lifestyle and how they can help you achieve your goal this December.
One more week peeps, before the New Year,
let's get crackin!

Keep on challenging yourself,
