Body Shop Haul (Feb 2015)
Hey my overactive thinkers :P
Welcome back.
I've got a brand new post. Recently got back to using Body Shop & I'm loving it.
It's all really nostalgic to me, reminds me of how I used to be soo obsessed with all of their range of products.
-
So to begin my journey back to Body Shop, I picked up this FOUR items .
2) Chamomile Silky Cleansing Oil - It cost me £10 too but because I've seen my favourite youtubers tried it out and I needed a new make up remover, I decided to give this a go! The fact that it's Chamomile makes it gentle, soothing and non-harsh to my skin which I love. It's oil texture helps melt make up away, although I still cleanse my face after with my Garnier Micellar Water to ensure all make up is removed from my skin but that's just my personal way of removing it. The Oil doesn't leave any residue on my skin and leaves it feeling toned and soft which is what you expect from an oil. It does remove waterproof mascara but not ALL mascaras. Sometimes , I notice I have some left when I use my Garnier Micellar Water to remove it.
3)Lip & Cheek Stain (03 - Coral) - It's a new launch product and I've been looking to try out that gradient lip for ages. Seen it as a trend especially in Asia and now I have the chance to do so. It's also £10 but it lasts for ages. Because it's a liquid texture - a little goes a long way. I love this red colour too. Don't get put off my the glitter/shimmer inside, you can barely see it on your lips and you can't feel the glitter on your lips. The only downside of this product is that, it dries out your lips so be sure to use a rick lip balm underneath before application. Otherwise, it's a great stain to work with. =)
4) Satsuma Body Butter - This is the 50mL that I've got here just to try it out for myself. Got this for £5 and I gotta say, honestly -- I love the scent. Reminds me a lot of the Soap & Glory Orangeasm line. It's not as thick in texture if you compare it to the other body butters for example : Cocoa or the Shea Butter ones so this is lighter but it stays on your skin for longer too. The scent doesn't linger as much (at least not for me) and it provides optimum moisturization for your skin. Too bad this 50mL finishes quick .. oh well, more reasons to go out and get more ;)
& that my friends, conclude my body shop haul for the month of Feb. I've yet to go back and stock up :) Till then, I shall enjoy every bit I have left of these products :)
See you in my next post,
G.
