Travel Essentials (London 2015)

Hello,
It's a bit late but I've got to share with you what I brought with me to London for my recent London trip.

It wasn't a long trip - approx 4 days? So yes, and plus staying at a friend's place helps heaps in reducing what you need to bring ;)
So let's get down to showing you what I brought.

PS : Excuse the mess . ^^
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Skin , Body & Hair Care

1. Body Lotion / Body Butter : Keep your skin nourished and moisturized. Mine is this Satsuma Body Butter from the Body Shop & it's the mini sized one - makes you smell great while on your travels too! :)
2. Face Mask : Get either sheet masks or disposable masks on the go. When you're travelling, you're not at home, it's hard to take EVERYTHING with you. A packet jam-packed with skin nutrients to boost your skin when you're travelling is your life saviour when you're away.
3.  Moisturizer - Mine is this Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser - I like the texture and it doesn't make my skin more oily which is great and it's light to pack too.
4.  Mouthwash - Keeps your breath fresher and smelling great for longer. Why not?
5. Cleanser : A small bottle of cleanser to cleanse your face while you're on holiday. A must!
6.Mini-toothpaste : Got this on 3 for 2 at Boots along with the others. Actually wasn't so bad.
7. Conditioner : Tried out John Freida's hair care for the first time , and the great thing is : It's meant to take frizz away which is what my hair always gets from brushing it too often so to tame everything down, I decided to try this and it works.
8. Make up remover wipes : When you're bringing make up to wear it on your travel - you need some form of removal process. Make up wipes are handy and lighter to pack than your cleansing balm or oil. You can get 7 sheets in this one that's perfect for a week's getaway.
9. Shampoo : Mini size shampoos especially when you can get them in the brand you want - bonus!
*10. Strengthening Shampoo - This is optional and only if you're going on a longer holiday period - Switching up your shampoo makes styling your hair a lot easier as it helps target problems while you're away on holiday (i.e : Weather/pollution and etc)

 BEAUTY PRODUCTS.

11. NYC Skin Primer : I've been using this for a while now and a face primer is a must for me - it's a barrier to protect my skin from harsh chemicals from cosmetics & it makes my make up stay longer. ;)
12. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (Translucent) : This powder keeps my oily skin at bay and it helps stick everything on perfectly. A MUST everywhere I go.
13.  Single eye shadows - A way to reduce space is to bring eye make up that works best for your eyes. It's certainly NOT a time to "try" out looks but rather stick with what suits you. Plus, single eye shadows takes up less space than a whole palette which you're probably not gonna use 70% of the shadows in there anyways.
14. Loreal Le Blush : Affordable, colour pay off is great, compact, comes with a mirror and a brush and it lasts on your cheeks making it flushed throughout the day - would recommend checking out!
15. Body Shop Lip Tint - Recently got this, love it. You can do the gradient lip or use it as a cheek stain - versatile product to travel with.
16. A clear lip gloss - If you're doing a gradient lip, this is what you'll need PLUS, if all else fails - a clear lip gloss will make your lips irresistibly pout-y too
17. A creme eye shadow - Maybelline Colour Tattoos are a great investment to get! Their texture and lasting power is amazing and it's perfect for everyday wear. All you need to do during your holiday, is pop these on and you're good to go - no brush needed!
18. Mascara - Take a mascara you've used and trust that it won't make your eyes go all panda-crazy and it won't be impossible to remove either.
19. Brows : Settle with a simple tinted brow gel to shape your brows. I know when you're on holiday - the easier it is, the better.
20. Highlighter - If you want that glowing skin - a subtle highlighter like this from Make Up Revolution can do wonders.
21. BB Cream : If foundations are too heavy for your skin use a BB cream instead. It covers up imperfection, mattifies and moisturizes your skin and it feels lighter too. Best part is that, it works well without a brush - all you need to do is blend in with your fingers.

Lastly, a travel brush set.
(An All in One brush set that will pack into your luggage easily and will allow you to apply your make up flawlessly. No hassle whatsoever.

So yes, just some ideas on what you can bring on your vacation coming up!
Obviously, some things are not necessary but it's all entirely up to you.
=) It's your holiday after all.
Have fun,
G.
