March Empties 2015

Helloo, so it's been overdue for my empties. I know I've missed out in February and that was because I didn't have much to show. =)
And now, I have plenty!
Let's begin!

BODY CARE

There are a few empties as you can see. I'll begin with Shower Cream.

Been using the Radox Mango Mayhem & Soap&Glory Orangeasm Body Wash recently. It's great.
Radox Review : I love the scent, saw it on the shelf during my London trip and bought it. Problem was it finished really quick. It was a gel-texture and it doesn't irritate my skin unlike the 'Moisturise' range from Radox did.
Soap&Glory Review : This took me AGES to finish. I like the scent , it's fresh and refreshing. One thing that annoyed me was the pump dispenser dispensed so little so I had to keep pressing to get an even amount to lather up. It put me off any pump dispenser shower gel/cream.

I have TWO body butters that I've used up too. The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter & The Soap&Glory Orangeasm Body Butter

Body Shop Review: Finally tried the Satsuma scent that is constantly hyped up on Youtube. I like the scent and it is lighter than other body butter consistency so it's very refreshing on your skin. However, if you're looking for a much moisturising body butter, I would recommend the Shea Butter range rather as that has more moisturising properties than this.

Soap&Glory Review: As you can see from above, I do love the scent and I did got it from a giftset so bear with me. It's the similar orange, lime zesty scent. It's a body butter texture which I prefer than a lotion. The great thing about a body butter is that the scent lingers on your skin and I like how the orange scent lingers on my skin while I'm off running errands.

My first time trying this Nivea In-Shower Moisturiser.

Review: Never really believe in the hype for it until I tried it. It's basically a shower emollient. Be careful as it does make the shower floor slippery as you wash it off so be careful but other than that, I love the product. It does moisturise my skin and I can feel the difference after I get out from it. It does leave some sort of film on your skin but it'll disappear after you dry yourself off. I've repurchase another bigger bottle of this cocoa scent in particular already.

......

FACIAL CARE

As for skin care, I've got a few bits too. Two months worth and I'm feeling quite productive having to clear this all up!

Spoken about this before. It's the Loreal Skin Perfection Serum .

Loreal Review: Finally finished it and I loved every single bit of it. I love how it smooths out my skin, gives a velvet silky finish. It doesn't make my skin oily so I do use it during the day as my base before moisturiser. The pump does dispense just the right amount so it's perfect. Worth the price, and I'm already using my 2nd bottle at this moment. =)

This was one of the fastest eye cream I've ever used up. It's the Dr. Organics Eye Cream.

Review : Saw this brand in Hollands & Barrett and thought I'd give it a go. This eye cream has a thick consistency but it ran out pretty quickly. Sometimes it does feel quite heavy to be put on your eyes so I'd say, use it at minute amount. It does help with my dark circle but nothing much for puffiness and it's meant to be for anti-aging too but I didn't notice any significant effect so I'd say you might have to use it religiously before you see any great effect. Otherwise, not too bad for an eye cream that's reasonably priced.

One of my most trusted cleansers. It's the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.

Cetaphil Review: Used this before and this is my 2nd bottle. Took me ages to finish this one. Lasted me for 2.5 months? Yeah, but it's a great everyday cleanser, does not have any harsh chemicals so it won't dry out your skin and if you have sensitive, acne-prone skin this would be perfect for you. It does feel light when it's lathered up and it almost feels like it's not doing much for you skin which is where I guess the term 'gentle' comes into play. I have a back up for it waiting to be used.

Two moisturisers that I've been using and have ran out of too. It's the Clean &Clear Dual Action Moisturiser & the Clean&Clear Advantage Spot Control Moisturiser.

Dual Action Review: Bought this ages ago, and finally finished it. All you need is a small amount, it's quite liqiud-y so it spreads around your face easily. I have oily skin and it's mean to absorb real quick but it doesn't for me somehow. I had to pat my face with mattifying powder to take away the shine after. So wouldn't recommend if you have oily skin. I know it says 'oil-free' but it could be the consistency of the cream that emphasize my shine on my face.

Advantage Spot Control Review: This was however, the opposite. It was more drying. It's good for an everyday use moisturiser particularly for oily skin. It didn't cling to my dry patches, and it did mattify my face too which is good. However, if you have dry skin , I would really recommend because you would need something more moisturising than this. The consistency is like a gel-like texture, absorbs real quick and it does prevent future breakouts which I've noticed. =)

As for footcare, I did write this in a review linked below:
Cozy Feet Routine where I mentioned about this Soap&Glory Heel Genuis Foot Cream.

Review: So far, I've been trying other foot cream and nothing is as moisturising and thick as this Soap&Glory one. It's green in colour and it moisturise your feet like crazy. Just dab some on, put on cotton socks and go to bed. It really does what it says. Takes a while to finish too. I wasn't sure whether it was as good as it said before until I tried other foot creams and this couldn't even compare to them. The best thing about it is that, you can feel the level of moisture when you remove your socks in the morning and your feet feels refreshed (not kidding).

As for RANDOM favourites,

I've got the Centrum Advance Multivitamins.

Review: Boring stuff but haha.. take it one a day and it does me well so no complaints over it. I'm quite particular with brands when it comes to supplements so I tend to stick with Centrum or Seven Seas. (personal preference)

I think you can get this at Poundland but it's the Sweet Heaven Instant Hot Chocolate.

Review: When you just need a cup of hot chocolate and you ambush it with the right amount of creamer, sugar and marshmallows - it all taste heavenly. Managed to finish this quite quick. Been having it as a nice relaxing drink on my days off and it makes me feel so relaxed. Plus, for a pound you can't go wrong with it.

......

Make Up Empties.

As you may well know, Make up is quite hard to 'finish' so I've only got two this month and I've stopped buying until I finish what I have so keep a look out for more make up empties this year ;).
Anyways, I've got the MUA brow gel over here that looks all ugly now.

Review: It's a good cheap clear brow gel, that's easily put on to keep brows in place. It's not tinted so if you're looking for something clear to hold your brows, this is perfect. It's a pound if i'm not mistaken.

Lastly, it's my Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm. One of the my favourite lip balm formulas. It's quite a hit & miss though.

Review: I know some people swear by it and some hate it. I do love it but I like certain colours. Only this Mint one and the 'Cherry Me' colour I love, the rest they tend to dry out my lips rather than moisturise it. I love the scent of this mint one and it glides on my lips easily with its slight creamy formula. It's non sticky so it's quite light on your lips yet moisturizing hence why I love it. Am trying out other brands at the moment if not, would definitely repurchase it. =)
