My Nail Polish Collection 2015

Hie again,

I've been wanting and hesitating on whether to share my Nail Polish collection with you so let's get along with it before I change my mind :P 

The reason for my hesitation is that, I don't have much nail polish and I'm not one of those people that collects nail polish, simply because I don't paint my nails on an everyday basis. I only do it for occasions.

Nail polish are a treat to me, so I do have a few colours that I love and some I can use for casual occasions. Let's get going and I hope you like it.

I'll start with my base & top coats. I have two here as you can see below:

Left: Revlon Multicare Base & Top Coat ; £6.49 [Recently bought, appears less glossy as a top coat compared to the Sally Hansen but no doubt, its a 2 in 1 product]

Right: Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat ; £5.25 [Quite a thick formula but it leaves a nice smooth glossy finish - downside, it takes ages to dry]

I've divided them in brand names so I'll begin with Maybelline Colour Show.

I have 4 colours in this range and my overall review of this range is that : The colours do look nice on the packaging but upon application, it takes a few layers to make the colours opaque on your nails so 2 coats isn't enough. (beware)

They are  : £ 2.99 each and with offers normally lined up, you can  get each for cheaper too!

Next, I have the Barry M Gelly Nail Paint Polishes.

I have 3 in my collection at the moment and I do know why these Barry M nail polishes are a big hit! They're thick in formula, the brush is just the right size and it coats your nails perfectly. The downside is that, it takes a while to dry because of it's thick formula.

They are  £ 3.99 each , have TONS of colours to choose from and also different kind of formulas.

Next in line, Loreal Paris Color Riche Range

I have only 2 in this range but among all my nail polish, I love this range the most because the brush as you can see is thick & fluffly (easy application), formula is super opaque and the colour ranges are beautiful and true as how it looks. 

These are £4.99 each and I would definitely recommend them if you haven't tried this range.

The rest of the collection consist of random polishes collected over the years. 

NYC Minute Quick Dry in Greenwich Village (236) and Raindrop (325) - I remember the buzz in these NYC ranges too, they're popular and their formulas aren't too bad for their price, it's only £1.79 each. They do dry a lot faster than other thicker formula nail polishes so be sure to make the least mistakes when painting. =]

Elianto Nail Varnish (Can only be found in Asia) - It's a nail polish which I've got for years now and I love the colour of it, comes off shimmery light pink on your nails which is perfect if you're looking for something suitable for everyday wear.

Mavala Glitter Polish in Violet Diamond (214) - This is a gift from my friend last year and It's the only glitter polish I have in my collection over here and I love it. I believe it's about £4.75 per bottle from Boots but the glitters are so pretty. One thing I dislike about glitter polish is that, it takes ages to come off but for such nice coloured-glitter, I still can't resist.

So there you go, that's my whole range of nail polishes at this very moment.

I hope that gave an insight to different brand of polishes and how it can build up to be a collective collection after all. The good thing is that, it takes FOREVER to finish one bottle so for someone who isn't into painting my nails all the time, this is quite a lot of nail polish for me to own :P
