My First Make Up Products «~~¦ Going back in time. ¦

Heyy , so to apologize for my delayed post, here's an anticipated beauty post for you who are curious. =]

Welcome to my first ever beauty products : these are the FIRST make up products for each category that I ever own. I might not have some of them with me now but hell, they're the first inspiration things that got me into make up . They're the first things that spark a new whole life to beauty in my life. Let's get into it - I'm sooo excited ! xD

BEWARE : It's a long post down ahead.

===∆♥Ф===

¤ Mascara : Maybelline Volume Express : The Falsies

†› Thoughts : Had this like 3 years ago, and I can still say now so far : It's still the best mascara for me. I love the formula & it really lengthens and provide enough volume for my small lashes to look almost ' fake' . It's waterproof (doesn't smudge), doesn't crisp up your lashes and it's easy to remove with a make up remover.

===∆♥Ф===

¤  Blush : Body Shop Blush

†› Thoughts :  You can't get this range of blushes anymore but I've had this a few years now and it barely made a dent! Love the colour, it's perfect for that everyday pink for your cheeks. However, I've seen the latest body shop  blushes texture and it's similar to this. Find a colour to match you and you're good to go! =)

===∆♥Ф===

¤   Eyeshadow Palette : MUA Undress me palette.

†› Thoughts :  First ever palette , got this 2 years ago and I'm still using it now. Havent touched pan on any of these yet. They're super pigmented so a little bit goes a long way. The colours are great for an everyday wear and it's so buttery smooth. The only downside is that, there's not much matte shades but other than that, it's quite a good starter kit palette if you're beginner into make up :)

===∆♥Ф===

¤  Lipstick : Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss.

†› Thoughts :  Got this approximately 2 years ago, and i'm 3/4 way through the tube and I love the colour. It hasn't oxidized, the colour is still as pigmented, moisturizing and it's the perfect balance between shine & matte. Goes well if you have fair - med skin like me. It's a pink with a mauve undertone. I'd recommend the whole range of this Kate Moss line of lasting finish - really worth the affordable price you pay.

===∆♥Ф===

¤  Bronzer : Body Shop Bronzer : Fair Matte.

†› Thoughts : I wasn't a big fan of bronzers and it's always been one of those 'additional' things to have in your make up kit but till I tried out one like this one , I've changed my views on bronzers. It's just as important as highlighters to me. You can't do one without the other. This is a matte bronzer with a orange undertone. I'd say if you can get your colour right, it's a really blend-able, everyday use bronzer that isn't too harsh on your skin.

===∆♥Ф===

¤   Highlighters : Loreal Subtle Highlighter in Rose Boudoir.

†› Thoughts : Got this a year ago, as I wasn't sure of how to highlight yet so I'd thought I get something subtle and this is perfect. It gives a slight glow without looking too 'glowy'. It's matte too so it doesn't make your face look too shiny if you have oily skin like me. Can also be used as a setting powder. It lasts a while as you can see and I used it daily for work to give me a healthy glow to my cheekbones.

===∆♥Ф===

¤ Chubby Stick Lipsticks : Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain : Honey.

†› Thoughts :  Got this 2 years ago, been saving it cause I love it so much. Bought it when it first came out and after all the hype over on Youtube, I decided to give it a shot! The colour matches really well and it's a great everyday wear colour. It's a lip crayon so application is simple. Formula wise: It's a hit & miss for these balm stains, but for this particular Honey one that I've got , it doesn't dry my lips, it doesn't flake after 2 hours of wear, it lasts all day, and it feels like you're putting on balm. Because of this, I went out to get another last year and I wasn't pleased as it faded really unevenly and it went patchy on my lips. I'd say, choose wisely as the formula differs with colour. Otherwise, it's brilliant.

===∆♥Ф===

¤ Lipgloss : Tanya Burr Lip Glosses .

†› Thoughts :  I have two colours  (Chic & Exotic ). Both formulas are similar which is good. They aren't as sticky as conventional lip glosses but they are still stickier compared to putting on a lip balm. The colours are great selection, pigmentation is as you see from the tube and they're pretty pigmented upon application. They are affordable in the drug store & they're worth the money. Take note, that with pigmented colours, the fading process is a little patchy and lasting power of a lip gloss in general isn't as good as lip stick so just be aware. =)

===∆♥Ф===

¤  Tinted Lip Balm : Blistex Lip Brilliance in Blushing.

†› Thoughts :  One of the best lip balms out there. I used to like Nivea tinted one too but this is just as good as I can't seem to find those Nivea ones here in the UK. Anyways, this is moisturizing and it gives your lips just the right red tone to compliment any natural lip colour. Also, it tastes & smells nice so if you're kissing someone? They'll love it too. =P

===∆♥Ф===

¤ Eyeliner : Sleek Twist up Eye Pencil

†› Thoughts :  Great pigmentation, love the hue of this shade. Glides on well and it's a twist up. Lasting power isn't as waterproof or as great but for a coloured eyeliner to spice your eyes up a lil bit, it doesn't matter as much. Tip: Using a coloured eyeliner that compliments your eye colour can really brighten up your eyes.

===∆♥Ф===

\
¤ Liquid Concealer : Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer.

†› Thoughts : Ever since I took the plunge to try out a liqiud concealer for blemishes / to brighten up under the eye, I've been converted onto liquid concealers instead of stick concealers. This formula is great. Coverage is good, does not crease and does not seem too heavy on the skin either. The only problem is colour matching it to your skin. They don't have much choices in their range but if you can find on that suits you, its a great product!

===∆♥Ф===

¤  Foundation : Revlon ColorStay Foundation.

†› Thoughts :  My first ever liquid foundation. I have passed this bottle of my to my mum and she loves it. But when it used to be mine, I used to love it too. It's coverage is HIGH so it's great to cover up my acne scars and blemishes, colour match was perfect because it had loads of range for different undertones, it has two different formulas : Oily/Combo or for Dry so even more specific choice depending on your skin type. Lastly, it's really blend-able and thick but it doesn't weigh down your skin. The only problem I disliked about it is the fact that it doesn't come with a pump!

===∆♥Ф===

¤  Cream Eyeshadow : Maybelline Colour Tattoo.

†› Thoughts : I was wondering what the hype was it all about with this Maybelline Colour Tattoo and was blown away when I bought my very first one. It's cream but it glides onto your eyelids so smooth, no crease, and it's super pigmented that a lil is all you need. Upon application, you can blend until it sets and it stays all day! It makes a great eye base and it doesn't dry up as fast too. Like I've had this one for 6 months at least now and it's still going strong! =) Def recommend.

===∆♥Ф===

¤  Powder : Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.

†› Thoughts  I remember I bought one last year that slightly tinted called Peach Glow or something like that, and I liked the texture of it. I used it till I hit pan! The fact that it was tinted affected my foundation so this time, I decided to get the Translucent one. And I love it. It controls my shine without looking powdery, it doesn't sink in to my dry spots and it helps make you make up stay in place too. So overall, one of the best drug store powders out there!

===∆♥Ф===

¤  Make up Brushes : Real Techniques Stippling Brush.

†› Thoughts : This is the first ever make up brush I ever bought with my own money. Decided to just go for it and using a brush to apply your make up, makes hell a lot of difference! This brush makes your foundation glide on smoothly, and it makes application look airbrushed. If you want to perfect the act of blending in make up for a smoother look whether it's on the face,eyes or your cheeks and etc, using a brush helps you achieve that look & it makes you look natural. So yes, ever since this brush, I've been converted to using brushes for the majority of my make up routine. =)
