August Boots Haul 2015

Hello everyone, welcome back!

I know it's been a while since I've last done a haul and I do a big boots haul at least once a month so I thought I'd share with you what I've picked up in August 2015. I know it's a bit late :P .

Let's just say : I got sucked in big time to all the sales that was going on back then. 

I now have wayyy to much stuff that I'm trying so hard to control from buying more just so I could use these up.

Btw just a quick disclaimer if I may add : Sadly, I was not sponsored at all to do this post & unfortunately I had to bear the pain of my bank account when I did this haul. So I'm hoping all these products are worth the money :) Let's get right onto it.

Soap & Glory ¤» Puffy Eye Attack , Beauty Sleep Accelerator , Greatest Scrub of All & Fab Pore Mask.

Reasons why I bought it : I've always known Soap & Glory to be great at skin care so I thought I picked up more of it. I've started using that Fab Pore Mask & I love it soo far. There are micro-beads in there that helps exfoliate & it leaves a cool sensation on your face after making your skin refreshed & your pores refined. Haven't used the other two skin care bits yet. As for the Puffy Eye Attack Gel : I've used it before last year & I decided to try other brands but so far, I've come back to this because the consistency is a bouncy-gel texture that moisturizes & hydrates the under-eye area really well. Among all 'puffy eye' treatments that I've used [drug store wise] , this one still works best & I do see results. 

Botanics Radiance Range : Radiance facial serum, Hand cream, Micellar Solution.

Reasons why I bought it ¤» First off, it was on 3 for 2. = ) Secondly, this is my 2nd tube of the hand cream & for it's price, it works really well , absorbs quickly & literally leaves your hand feeling soft and also, it isn't greasy (I hate hand creams that do that) . I'm using the facial serum at the moment every night & it's already half gone. The texture is a watery consistency and it absorbs really quick. It leaves your face instantly refreshed & gives it a quick glow. However, I do feel like it's not a necessity product to have in your daily skin care routine but only if you're looking for something different to try out. As for the Micellar Solution, I've not used it yet as I'm still trying to finish up my Loreal Micellar Solution which I loveeeee. 

John Frieda: Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioner & Flawlessly Straight Shampoo.

Reasons why I bought it ¤» I've always heard good things about John Frieda and ever since I tried their hair serums, I fell in love with the brand because it helped tame frizz from static from my hair & it made my hair soft & silky . So I thought I'd give the shampoo & a conditioner a go. I'm using the shampoo too currently & it does what it says - flawlessly straight! ^^ So happy for that. I do have thick layered wavy hair so with this product keeping it straight , it helps me to manage it a lot better. As for the conditioner, I'll update you on that once I've started using it.

Other random bits : La Roche Posay Effaclar Astringent Toner , No7 Early Defence Eye Cream, Imperial Leather Lime & Grapefruit Body Wash.

Reasons why I bought these ¤»  I thought I would give the La Roche Posay Toner a go, seeing how I  swear by the Effaclar Duo & the Serozinc product to help keep my acne at bay - haven't started using this yet as I'm finishing up my current toner so will have to let you know on that. As for the eye cream, with those No7 Vouchers where you get 5 pounds off skin care - it made me want to try this out! It's a new launch from No7 and where in my 20s , I was looking for something to hydrate & maintain the elasticity of the skin around my eyes as I do wear eye make up at times so as a prevention method to wrinkles  or stretching the skin too much - I'd like something to keep them hydrated & supple. I'm currently using this as my day & night eye cream, I still personally prefer the Soap & Glory one simply because, this is a cream texture so it doesn't refresh my eyes as much as a gel one does. In terms of puffiness & dark circles, I did not see any difference either so ... =/ wouldn't repurchase this simply because there are better ones out there. As for the body wash, I've used it up now. This is my 2nd bottle & what I can say : Love the foam it produces, and it leaves your skin feeling soft. =]

So those are the things I bought back in August.
