Self Help : 3 things to do when you're questioning everything in your life.
Hi everyone, I'm back with a brand new post.
Had a week off from blogging for the new year & to get my head back into perspective of things & goals for 2016 so I'm back to my blogging habit. =]
A week without it, I kind of felt a like something was missing :) #missyouall
Anyways, with today, I'm going to tell you the 3 things I do when I feel at times, I start questioning everything & start doubting myself whether I'm at the right place of where I should be and etc. [I'm sure you know that feeling too]
It's not a very nice feeling because you can't sleep, you constantly doubt yourself, you start to lose confidence & self esteem and everyday just feels lousy & demotivated. So if you're feeling that way at the moment, know that you're not alone! =)
For me, it came to a point where days turned to weeks & I told myself - that's it , I can't take this anymore.. I need to find a way to *refresh* myself & to just clear every doubt that I have in my head.
So here are the 3 things I did to help me feel better:
1 : Cut out technology & go to a place where you feel free & happy .
~ Whether it's a nice walk through the forest, or a little journey to the beach - do something that doesn't involve civilization . They say, nature helps & it really does. It helps take your mind off the things that you're constantly worried about & it gives your brain a chance to relax & enjoy the scenery that makes you feel serene and peaceful.
2 : Make a promise to yourself.
~ When you don't have technology / social media trying to remind you of your problems, you give time to yourself to zone out from reality & see with more clarity to slowly find a solution to every problem you're facing. When you realize then, what's really important in your life, what matters & what you want out of this life - it's easier to make promises to yourself & to changes you want to make hence, giving you that new perspective you've been trying to find for so long. Don't rush and take it one breath at a time.
3 : Enjoy every minute of 'being away' .
~ It's easy once you've decided your plan & you're feeling determined now to go back to your everyday life and change things , but before you hurry back, give yourself a chance to enjoy the moment of being somewhere different , doing something you don't usually do on a daily basis, give yourself a few minutes to take in that whole scene & remember that feeling of being inspired . You're going to go back eventually so take your time & make each minute last.
Mine is the beach. It is my getaway place.
It is my way of forgetting & letting go of life's challenges & problems. :)
Notice how all 3 points revolve around being with yourself.
And that's because , at the end of the day,
you have the power to inspire yourself & it's all in you,
It just takes a little time to find it but once you do,
it'll change the way you look at your life,
it'll give you new perspective,
&bit'll give you new light.
