Beauty : Skin Care Empties (Feb 2016)

Welcome back! 

Its really LATE , I know but I thought I would still show you some of the products that I've used up since my last post . =) 

Let's just say, I actually waited till I had a full collection of items before making this post so bear with me .

Anyways let's begin.

L to R : Superfacialist Salicyclic Acid Anti-Blemish Cleansing Wash , Body Shop Seaweed Facial Exfoliator, Botanics Radiance Serum Concentrate & Palmers Eventone Corrector. 

Reviews : 

- Superfacialist cleanser : A great everyday cleanser for blemish prone skin  ; has an elderflower scent ; gives you a clean-feel skin ; gel-like texture ; doesn't dry out your skin but clean enough to get rid of any residue on your face ; doesn't aggravate my acne or give me more pimples during the use of this product 

- Body Shop Seaweed Exfoliator : This is my 2nd bottle, love this product. I prefer this scrub for my acne skin compared to the Apricot St Ives Scrub ; Helps control oil & sebum production ; Has exfoliating beads to give your face a real scrub without being too harsh ; Helps speed up the process of healing in terms of acne-prone skin ; I only use it twice a week and it helps a lot!

- Botanics Radiance Serum Concentrate : Affordable price ; thick-viscous consistency ; absorbs into skin real quick & has this 'tightening' effect once it gets absorbed ; I use it after I tone & it works well with my nigh moisturisers to provide extra nourishment ; lasted me for a good 5 months ; does make your skin look a bit shiny so I recommend only using it at night. 

- Palmers Eventone Corrector : A liqiud-ey serum texture ; takes a while before realizing any lightening effect on scars ; gives a nice soft texture to the skin ; plumps up your skin ; it contains fragrance so be aware if you have sensitive skin ; it does moisturize skin well on top of your moisturiser. 

No7 Early Defence Eye Cream

Review:

-Eye Cream : A little goes a long way ; helps nourish the delicate skin under the eye ; great for everyday use ; noticed less dry skin under the eyes especially after applying concealer or any make up ; I find that I have to apply quite a thick layer in order to feel its moisturising effect ; worth trying if you're looking for something reasonable & for everyday use. 

Boots Essential Cucumber Moisturising Cream 

Reviews : 

- Cucumber Moisturising Cream : A great all-rounder product ; if you use it as a moisturiser , it takes forever to finish ; definitely softens the skin really well ; does make you look shine very easy if you have oily skin (like me) ; can be used a body moisturiser too ; has a slight cooling effect to make you feel refreshed (with its cucumber extract) ; super affordable price. 

L to R : Superdrug Clearly Youthful Face Mask , No7 Beautiful Skin Purifying Mask

Reviews:

- Clearly Youthful Mask : A great peel-off mask with glycolic acid ; easy to use ; does tingle upon application ; once removed - skin feels new, refreshed & smooth. If you have sensitive skin , it may make you face a bit red cause of the glycolic acid in there, so be careful. 

-No7 Purifying Mask : A heated clay mask ; Heat up when in contact with your skin for a good 10-20 seconds and then it cools ; Upon removal with warm water, it does leave an oily - like residue which is good if you have dry skin ; skin feels moisturised and deep cleaned.

Reviews: 

- Vichy Eau Thermale Mist : Compared to other facial mist, the amount in one spritz is a lot & the droplets aren't dispersed enough so you can end up having a wet face after 2-3 spritz ; I find it did nothing to my skin ; Its similar to spraying water to my face & it did not help my acne whatsoever ; It is a good mist in general but you do have to hold it quite far in order to get a good widespread mist. 

- La Roche Posay : This toner contains alcohol ; it did help clear off excess dirt ; I find it did not help my acne to reduce in quantity or anything like that ; it did dry out my skin (must be from the alcohol content) ; couldn't use it around my eyes either ; it did felt as if it stripped my skin so I find it was a it harsh on me. 

Loreal Skin Perfection Micellar Water 

Review:

-Micellar Water : My 2nd bottle that I've used up ; a great everyday use to remove make up ; I find this 2nd time using this, it was a bit drying on my skin ; It removes waterproof make up but it takes a few swipes to get it all off ; It does sting a little bit if you put it too close your eye ; Does make your face feel a bit sticky after cleansing with it ; Makes your face look shiny too . However, if you like something quick & easy , it's still a good product to use.

Just wanted to say that this is all based on my opinions when I used these products. You may have a different opinion completely about it and that's fine too with me =) 

I'm glad it worked out for you. Some of these products here I would repurchase in the near future & some I might not so we'll see.
