Beauty : Soap & Glory Dr Spot [REVIEW]

Today's post is going to be another quick review of the Dr Spot by Spot & Glory.

With that short intro, let's get right onto the product. 

As you can see, it comes in a squeeze tube & it has 15mL of product in it.

For the price that you pay, I'd say honestly it wasn't too bad. I thought at first this product would be a gimmick or a fail to me but surprisingly , the more I used it, the more I see better results from it.

It has salicyclic acid & other ingredients that I didn't recognize before compared to other 'spot treatments' so I was not expecting it to work that well. At first, it sting upon application but the good thing was, it's clear so it doesn't form any white patch or any 'skin-peeling' effect at all which is great. 

It does have a strong scent as well that I noticed (a little bit like alcohol smell) which I don't really like but I'm not too bothered by it. As I used more and more of it, my skin got used to it & it became more effective for me.  I know it sounds weird but it's one of those products that your skin needs to get used to at first.

However , although it's a gel consistency & it tends to get absorbed quicker than a cream product would , it may make your face appear a little shiny so I don't tend to wear it out during the day but during the night I use this and I noticed as days went on, the pimple heals a lot quicker. 

Not only does it heal quicker, it prevents any scar occurring & it gets rid of the pimple completely without leaving any sort of discoloration on your face so I do like this product at the end of the day for just general acne. However if you have rosacea or any other skin conditions, I wouldn't recommend this product as it may irritate the skin even more. 

I'd say if you've tried every medicated spot treatment on the high street & still haven't found the one that worked, try this out!
