Self Help : Learning to gain inspiration from your past.

Hey everyone,

Welcome back! Sorry for not being consistent on my updates but I just got back from holiday & I'm still coping with this whole regular sleeping pattern thing but I promise I'll still update here every so often. Just bear with me. =)

Anyways, today's post is about inspiration , it's about looking for inspiration. We're so used to changing & moving so fast ahead that sometimes we search for inspiration almost on a daily basis just to get a brand new idea. The thing is, we forget about our main source of inspiration that made us WHO we are today : Our Past Experience.

'Life gives you a tons of things to give up but instead its a challenge to push you forward'

I know it sounds deep , to use your past as inspiration but truth is, it's the easiest way to push you forward, See .. whatever occured in our past, has somehow made us be who we are today so use those insecurities, those times you've been doubtful to change your presence.

So here are reasons why we should & how to use our past as inspiration for today. :)

Why we should do it ?

1.) It teaches you to grow.
Looking back onto your past does not only make you see how you've changed but also, in between the cracks of different stories, you'll find lessons - lessons that'll teach you to be better in the future.

2) It crafts your personality & values
See nobody is perfect, everyone has their problems. It may be the same problem as you have but I can assure you, at some point in our lives - we've experienced some hardships & getting over it was the biggest change that affected us. Hence, our past has one of our biggest influence in shaping who we are .

x Shows you what you need to improve on
x comparing you to who you were yesterday is way more logical than comparing to somSeone else entirely

how
x look back into your past [ pictures etc ]
x create a pros and cons list
x revisit past memories that you weren't happy about
x come up with a plan to improve
x make little changes to today that will make you a better person tomorrow.
