Beauty : Nail Polish Purge 2016

The last time I've done a nail polish post was a while ago & that was to show you my full collection. If you want to check it out, click here.

This is an updated version of the post so let's get right into it. 

As you may know, I'm planning to move to another city somewhere in September so the cleaning up process HAS BEGUN. We'll begin with nail polish. 

So after having a hard look into my collection, I've decided to get rid of a few polishes particularly of these few reasons : 

x The colours aren't one I'd normally wear.

x The texture isn't to my liking.

x I've got them for a while now so the formula's changed.

So from the image above, you can see the ones I've deciding to pass on. 

The NYC colours as you can see above have a great range of colours & tbh, the colours I got were a bit bright for my taste so I seldom use them which is why I'm passing them on to someone else.

The Maybelline Color Show ones, are great but again, the formula is a bit less opaque than what I expected so they didn't looked good on my nails.

Lastly for the Barry M gelly nail shine, that shade of grey looks like cement on my nails which isn't my taste of grey tbh. I thought it'd be slightly lighter when it's on but it wasn't. 

Those are the reasons why I'm passing those polishes on and here is my new collection.

I'm pretty happy about it & they're all colours I would wear so #impressed .

Bear in mind, I'm not big on nail polishes as compared to make up so this is a big collection for me considering I only paint my nails on occasions or when I feel like it.
