Beauty:2016 Skincare Favourites

If you haven't checked out my beauty favourites of 2016 , check it out - I decided to write about my skin care favourites too this year particularly because I spoiled myself a lot this year when I had to move to a new city - to new routines and etc. With that, let's get straight into my skin care favourites of the year.

There isn't as much compared to beauty when it comes to skin care but I've been trying to use less but more of what my skin needs kind of products.

I've got a mixture of body , hands & face care products to share with you. 

These products are the ones that has really affected my skin for the better so let's get cracking down the list of what I've thought of them .

Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Cream : Never have been a user of much hand cream on a normal daily routine, I have to remind myself to use it but ever since my friend recommended me this brand - not only do I love the smell, I love the texture & the way it softens my hands.

Ren Omega-3 Facial Oil : This oil is the first product I've tried from this brand, Ren and I fell in love with the texture, it's a fine oil that absorbs into your skin leaving your skin feeling soft  & moisturized. It also some anti-aging properties to keep your skin glow and supple. Lasted me for a good 6 months to finish this bottle, a drop goes a long way.

Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Scrub : Among all the scrubs in the S&G range, this is my favourite one. The smell of it smells like maple syrup & oatmeal , the texture of scrub really helps scrub of your dead skin cells that it leaves your skin feeling soft & renewed after your shower/bath. I bought a few back ups to use .

Origins Ginzing Moisturizer : If you've seen my skin care favourites in November, you'll see this there too. It's been the moisturizer that I've been using since September & I love it so much. It's gel-like consistency, helps energized my skin first thing in the morning & the scent of zingy orange helps wake me up too. 

Botanics Rosewater Facial Mist: This facial mist helps keep my skin hydrated & refreshed. I use it right after using my toner & it feels rejuvenating & satisfying when you spritz it before putting on your moisturizer. I use it on mornings to wake my skin up too especially in the winter when your skin is drier first thing in the morning. Because this has rosewater, it helps retain the moisture of your skin.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion : I got this from BeautyBay & I've heard lots of great things about this lotion. It has alcohol & calamine lotion - sounds harsh I know with the term 'alcohol' but truly, use a dap of this on your pimples & boy does it help reduce them in size in just a day. Although because of calamine, it leaves a layer on your skin when it dries up but it's a good feeling when you know that it's working then. It is slightly pricey but a small bottle last for ages. Definitely recommend it.

Aveeno Clear Complexion foaming wash : This foam wash was one of the best things I've bought when I was in the States. First time trying out Aveeno cleansers & it's gentle yet effective. The only downside is the pump gets in the way after a while. Other than that, I would repurchase it again if I could .

Those are my favourite skin care products of this year- I've tried loads & tested so many that I can proudly narrow down to these few that really changed my skin in 2016. 

That sums up my favourites of 2016 . It's been a great year & I'm looking forward to 2017 

for more new beginnings & new adventures.
