Beauty : 5 Favourite Winter Lip Shades

Welcome back!

I've got my favourite winter shades of lipsticks that I find myself constantly reaching for. If you can see a pattern emerging here, it's that I prefer more natural/autumnal shades of lipsticks during a time like this. 

So here's my five favourite shade range & lipsticks . 

Let's begin with the lightest shade.

 NUDE

The lipstick I'm wearing is Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Shine : Nudist

The formula is just brilliant , really moisturizing , it doesn't flake on your lips & it keeps it soft too. However, the shade : sometimes, can make me look a bit washed out but if you're looking for a nude, this shade is perfect for an everyday nude natural shade.

The next shade: 

BRICK NUDE

I'm wearing Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Lip : Serenity 

This formula is one of the best matte lipstick formulas I've tried. It goes on smooth & when it mattifies, it doesn't crack on your lips like most matte lipstick do. The colour last for a good 4 hours solid too before having to reapply. It doesn't have a strong scent which is all a great bonus for me. Then again, Gerard Cosmetics lip products has always been on the hype & now I see why.

The last nude-family shade would be:

BROWN RUSTIC NUDE

This lipstick is Soap & Glory Satin Lipstick : Perfect Day

This is a great brick shade, if you're looking for between a nude & a darker red. Its perfect for this autumn/winter time of the year . The formula is a satin finish, so it goes on really smooth & moisturizing . This range of lipsticks from S&G have so far been amazing. Although there's not much shades available, it's worth trying it out.

Let's move on to brighter shades. As I have fair skin, I notice I tend for either red or purple/fushia kind of tones as it matches my skin tone better. 

So here are my favourite 2 shades . 

Mauve

This lipstick is : Kiko Ultra Glossy Stylo : 813 Apple Blossoms

The picture doesn't really do justice, the original shade looks like the one on the website, so have a look. It comes off like this berry shade & the texture of this lipstick is really nice. Real glossy & moisturizing. It feels like you're coating your lips fully when you're applying it. Not to forget the price of Kiko cosmetics are very reasonable so , I'd definitely recommend checking out this range of lipsticks from them.

The last favourite shade is one of my best shades :

Rosie Red

This lip gloss : Estee Lauder Pure Color Gloss : Desire

This particular shade (Desire) unfortunately has been discontinued but let me tell you about the formula itself. It's thick, it's glossy & it's moisturizing too. The shade looks beautiful with the right amount of gloss too. It looks wet but it doesn't look sticky or too slippy-slidey, so if you're in need to get a great lipgloss & want to invest in one, check out this range by Estee Lauder.
