Beauty : My Summer Favourite Eyeshadows 2017
Hey everyone,
Welcome back!
Hope your weekend is going well so far :) I'm not doing much, just worked today until NOW & gonna spend some time just chilling at home. Anyways, let's leave the chit chat for now & let's get right into this post.
As you can see, today's post is all about my favourite summer eyeshadows. YES, I bought new stuff for the summer (inspired by the sun) ! So let's go! I've been trying a lot of different brands of eyeshadows and I'm here to share them with you . BTW, this is a drug store version, if you would like me to do a high end eyeshadow review - do drop me a message or comment to let me know ;)
I've gathered 5 of my favourite shadows and they vary from palette to pencil to single pot eyeshadows. Let's get right into it!
Let's begin from left to right of the picture above & i'll include a quite review on each one too & why I love them! :D
This eyeshadow stick, I fell in love with it when Lily Pebbles spoke about it . And yes it is true, it's so creamy, soft & pigmented. One swipe will get you enough . On top of that, it's really blendable. Trust me when I say this - it's great for everyday wear because it's so simple & quick to make it work. I've tried tons from the high street brands & none of them are as good as Kiko's. Definitely recommend you to try!
This shade of shadow was the first I've ever tried & had. It was inspired by Jenn Im who's another youtuber who uses bright shadows on her eyes & it's amazing how she blends them in so perfect into her everyday look. I bought it to try it out during Summer to give a light peach shade to my eyes to make them look more awake & it works! It's so pigmented, not glittery but shimmery shadow. A little bit goes a long way & it's also super bendable. So I use this shadow with my Color Tatoo from Maybelline in On & On Bronze and oh my gosh, such a great combination.
3.) Fleur De Force Eyeshadow Quads Eyeshadow
Unfortunately this palette has become unavailable to buy but I just want to make a quick shout out to it's colour range & pigment. It's affordable & definitely worth to have in your collection. If she ever brings out a new collection of eyeshadows, definitely go check it out.
I've got these two loreal palettes for free & I was so keen to try it out. Have to say, some colours are hit & miss because of the shades especially in this glam palette so I might not wear them everyday but definitely nice colours to have in my collection. On top of that, I'm surprised with the level of pigmentation from these palettes. It is slight powdery & not so smooth & creamy but it gives a nice matte shadow on your eyes, so if you're looking for great build up colours - this is it =)
This palette has more everyday shades of colour for me so I tend to use this palette more than the Glam Palette. Tbh, the shades on this palette aren't too bad. It's as good as my fleur de force shadows. The shade range has so much variety of them that you can't run out of blending shades OR if you want to sweep any of these colour on your lid , it works too ! So for an everyday wear palette, go for this one. Won't disappoint.
