Beauty : Mini essie nail polish haul

I got a quick post here for you today. I haven't been painting my nails a lot for a long time now and to get me back to loving them again, I decided to gain some nail inspiration from Pinterest and I saw these images on there .

I found these two shades on there and just instantly fell in love. It's the perfect shade for me during this fall/winter time. So I decided to go out to Boots the other day to get them. I must say, nothing screams winter like new nail polishes that reminds me of this festive/winter season.
Essie nail polishes comes for a fixed price at 7.99 pounds each . I already owned a few of essie nail polishes from their light shades to more opaque shades and they are amazing 😍 . The brush allows you to coat the nail with a few strokes and with minimal bleed.
On top of that, unlike some brand of nail polishes, I find with essie's - there is no need to do different layers to get the full opaque colour which is so time consuming. One coat or max two coats is more than enough to get the colour you see on the bottle. The formula also dries down thick and hence it does not chip very easily. For me, I've used other brand nail polishes before it usually lasts 3 days before it starts chipping away. With Essie's , I still see it going strong up to 5 days before it starts chipping 🙌.
The reason I fell in love with angora cardi 💕is because it's a lovely pinky mauve shade that's perfect if you can't decide between to go pink or brown. It's right in the middle and the shade fits with every occasion from cozy casual to formal events.
As for hear me aurora 💕, it's more of a burgundy dark red than a true bright red . For my skin tone which is more neutral tan, if I wear bright red nails - it stands out right away and not in a good way. It looks as if I dipped my hands in red paint which is why , I think this shade is perfect for me in terms of achieving that 'red nail' look for festive events or for any upcoming special occasion . This colour is also part of 2018 winter collection which is amazing cause I get to try their latest range this winter.
I usually find it hard to get the right shade when it comes to nail polish and the right formula but for me, ever since I've tried Essie's nail polishes, I'm hooked 😃.
