Travel : Bath #2014

Image
Hiee, in relation to convince you to go to Bath, I have decided to write a blog post about it simply because I have too many nice pictures that I've taken during my trip there recently that I just NEED to share it with you how amazing this city is. Yes, I agree 3 days is more than enough to cover the whole city but it's definitely worth going there to check it out. I don't want to spoil your expectations, so if you're planning to go there, it is quite a boring place unless you're into architecture. :)  I have some pictures to show you, i hope you like it and I hope you get to see the reasons why I love Bath ( the city & just generally taking a bath, ahaha okay, 'back to being serious now!') .  Let's go..   I certainly wasn't expecting this from a 'Guest House'.   Loads of symmetric and curved buildings in the city of Bath.  The All-time famous, Roman Baths.  PS: You get a chance to drink the ther...

A new beginning.

Image
Hiiiee =) Welcome back. It's the weekend today so I've got time to write to ya, but today's post is more of a personal one. I seldom do these kind of post simply because I just have so much other things to share with you. But I thought, I should let you know regarding my new life chapter. - So last year I was living in this town called Winchester , and it's been one hell of a year, I couldn't ask for more. Everything was perfect. Collegues at work were awesome, I loved the town, I made new friends, I had a glimpse for once, of everything I pictured my life should be. UK seems to rain a lot but nevertheless, the gloomy weather / the support from colleagues + friends / strategic location = makes Winchester a pretty nice place to settle. Not only that, last year with the relationships I manage to build and be in, I've been really thankful for it and I got to learn a lot + experience a lot too . Manage to do some travelling as well which is a...

Body Shop Lip Balm Tin : Cranberry Joy Lip Balm.

Image
Heyy , I recently bought this new lip product a while back and I left it at home -.- Anyways, it's this Cranberry Lip Balm Tin from The Body Shop. I'll just get to it shall I?  So I'm assuming you know how to rate lip balms and what lip balm is and what is it used for? [ Google it if you don't ] So here's my personal own checklist for a lip balm: Moisture : Moisturize your lips but glitter makes it feel dry after a while [Dont expect long staying power] Tint : Has a slight apple-red tint upon application on your lips. Looks like you've put on a light gloss . =)  Texture : Due to slight presence of glitter - feels gritty a little but it's non-greasy on your lips so that's good. How much use do you get out of it : Because it's in a tin, it'll last for like 2 months at least depending on how much you use. Scent : Has a cranberry scent to it - very pleasant scent upon application : ) Quite addictive too. Price : Saw it on eb...

True facts about Break-Ups!

Image
Hi there everyonee, welcome back! Today I'm gonna tell you some facts about Break-Ups ( either both good or bad ones ) . We all know break-up sucks even for those who does the 'breaking up'. It's an event like death where no ones expects it and no one wants to get involve in it. But nevertheless, it happens because it's reality and it's sadly one of those things where EVERYONE will have to go through at least once in their entire life. ------ > With that being said, let's get down some real facts here. I'll be saying these from a female's point of view because I am one? Duhh.  hahaha let's get down to it. : ) [ Be honest, we've all been there ]. #1 ---> Before we feel start to feel the sad part of experience a break - up, the first reaction is normally 'doubt' . Because it's an unexpected event, it's hard for our minds to take it as it is just like rejection. You'll say 'nooo way this is happening now...

Quick Notice .

Hi everyone, This is gonna be a quick post explaining my reason for being MIA (Missing In Action). Few reasons: I left my camera charger at my friend's place while in London and so I can't charge my camera in the mean time until I receive it through mail now .. [ How smart of me! ] I've just started my new work (first week in reality and going through the transition from student - full time working life) makes it difficult for me to blog as I don't have much time. I've still trying to re-adjust in my new city. I'm currently living in an island in England which is like my FIRST time ever living in an island, makes it wonderful but at the same time terrifying cause it's really quiet & limited here.  I'm feeling a little homesick already after 3 weeks of being here ( I guess the 'quietness' exacerbates the loneliness I feel ). I'm going through still some personal changes in my life that I can't mention it here that only time ...

Maybelline Baby Lips: Neon Rose.

Image
Hii, as I'm on holiday now and am back home, I thought I pop into the local pharmacy to see what's new and I needed a new lip balm while I'm back here because I stored most of my collection back in the UK.  Because I have a whole range of Baby Lips from UK thought I add on more to my collection plus I figured the formula would be the same as I love the UK's version of Baby Lips.  So I bought this: Neon Rose tint (RM 9.90)  Meant to: Moisturise your lips Provide a light colour tint to your lips Provide SPF protection to your lips too. MY HONEST OPINION: 7/10 I have bought one previously called 'Rose Addict' and it's been serving me well. It is moisturising, it gives me supply lips, its non-sticky, it coats your lips without feeling too greasy and lastly, it gives a tint of colour to make your lips look more awake! The bad side of it is that, if your lips is overly dry before application, it tends to cause some flake-ups on ...

Moment's I'll Treasure : Summer 2014.

Hi everyone. I've got another update for you regarding these summer months from June till September 2014 and now when I think back, yes .. there are some bad times but there are some great wonderful memories too that made me realize a few things & I would like to share that with you all. 1. A bad experience can also be a positive thing. I believe this statement for two reasons! First, maybe it's fate & it's just not meant to be no matter how hard you try - accept it. Secondly, now that you've went through hell, you know what to expect & the signs on what to look out for and how to cope it in the future if it ever returns. In all, having experience {good & bad} I think is a great way to enrich your life. Worst come to worst, it'll all pass over time and you'll have EVEN MORE stories to tell to your friends/family.  2. Wonders of believing in yourself. I never really knew how important that was to me, until I had no choice and by belie...

An extension.

Helloo, if you've noticed my previous post, I have opened a new twitter account that I was inspired from having this blog.  With everyone checking twitter every now and then, I figured in order to reach out to more people all over the world, twitter could be a new platform for me to branch into. With that, I would like to officially welcome you to join me in my twitter account with the following link : https://twitter.com/Gennaxnyou This twitter account was set up mainly because, I figured if I post quotes and random thoughts that could either 'help' or 'entertain' you on a daily basis, what better way to do so than to let it be on Twitter.  : )  So besides me just posting tweets there, we could actually share or interact through that too. Therefore, I see it as a very good way for me to connect with you . Obviously, it's all free of charge - all you have to do is click the link above and join it for some daily updates on your twitter feed.. ...
